Rays International Shipping was launched to provide optimal logistics solutions to clients, offering a wide variety of products and services. The company was established by a group of young, dynamic professionals with diverse and in-depth experience in senior management positions both within the logistics industry as well as in the general business community.

While our Head Office is located in Colombo, Sri Lanka, we have our offices in Karachi, Pakistan, through our up-country presence, our client base extends to all corners of Pakistan. We have around 150 global partners offering the full range of multi-modal services to provide a seamless supply chain to our valued clients through integrated logistics solutions. We have deliberately opted to include seasoned management practitioners from both within the logistics industry as well as the general trading and manufacturing sector.

We strongly feel that this is a highly complementary combination of different perspectives. While a good logistics specialist may well appreciate the operational ‘ins and outs’ of the industry, it may be more relevant for a general management practitioner to appreciate the actual requirements of a client from, for instance, their production and marketing or even bankers’ viewpoints. The ability to effectively communicate and coordinate both perspectives – those of the client and the service providers – is key to designing and offering the best solutions meeting the client’s actual requirements.
